Referrals

You can be referred to see an Exercise Physiologist at PB Physiology under multiple platforms. If you have a chronic health condition, which is diagnosed and you have had it for longer than 3 months then you are eligible for a GP referral (Enhanced Primary Care Plan), which provides 5 rebated consultations of $55.10 per session per calendar year.

Participants under the NDIS can also be referred to see an Exercise Physiologist at PB Physiology. Exercise physiologists can access funding that is in the 'improved health & well-being' and 'improved daily living' categories.

Veterans can access Exercise Physiology services as part of the DVA scheme. Veteran's with White or Gold cards can access these services via a GP referral (D904 form) which lasts for 12 sessions or 12 months, whichever comes first. Veterans who have Gold cards and fall into the TPI (total permanent injury) category are able to attain referrals that last for a full 12 months, regardless of how many sessions they attend over the course of the year.
